Working closely with a rising country artist (Josh Scott) we created this, his first full length music video. MUTEJACK choreographed and directed with a few goals in mind. We needed to create something that was true to the artist, as well as being poignant enough to sway the public as a message itself.
As found what his celebrity guest found. An artist ready and willing to stand for what he believes in. We were there making sure that was possible.
Starting a project that needs to maintain the original needs of the client or artist as well as being marketable and digestible is a thin line to walk. Going too far to the right you dip into an artists understanding of themselves and their music, too far to the left and you remove them from the process completely.
Our collaboration from the start was built on this understanding, allowing for direction to evolve as the project did.
It doesn't matter how fast you're going if you're pointed in the wrong direction.

With video editing, a half second of footage in the wrong place can change the overall project completely. These things matter.
With MUTEJACK and Josh Scott we collaborated in using different shots and pacing until it was the exact product we were after from the beginning. Every frame matters, every beat counts.
